Trusted quality, thoroughly tested

We run the largest manufacturer-independent test and innovation centre for e-mobility in Essen, Germany, the E.ON Drive Testing Lab. It covers 25 testing stations and several cold and hot chambers in an area of 10,000 square meters (about the size of a Manhattan city block). This enables us to gather valuable insights of how EV batteries and charging solutions behave in the real world. It helps us to improve the entire e-mobility ecosystem, enables us to provide truly reliable and user-friendly charging solutions, smoothly interacting with other applications.
